This is where the fun begins! Full Season Prep and Novice teams bring all the excitement of All-Star cheer with a much less intense commitment than Elite. These teams are perfect for athletes who want to compete, perform, and be part of the All-Star experience without the heavy travel and schedule of national teams.
Prep and Novice is still a
full season program, giving athletes the chance to enjoy the entire cheer season, compete at regional competitions, and have an amazing time with their teammates along the way.
Full Season Prep and Novice
- Level 1
- Ages 5 - 16
- 12 Months (May - April)
- 2 days a week practice (no weekends)
- 5 - 6 one day competitions
What is the Prep and Novice cheer program?
Our Full Season Prep and Novice teams are designed for athletes who want to compete without the travel and time commitment of Elite teams. These teams compete primarily at regional competitions and offer a more flexible and less intense schedule.
Prep and Novice cheer is a great option for athletes who want to experience All-Star cheer, compete, and be part of a team in a fun and supportive environment.
What can I expect from the training sessions?
Training sessions at Valley Elite are structured to enhance your skills in stunting, tumbling, and choreography. Our experienced coaches provide personalized feedback to help you improve.
Expect a mix of hard work and fun, with a focus on building confidence and teamwork among all members.
Are there competitions?
Yes! Our Full Season Prep ands Novice cheer program includes participation in 5-6 ONE-DAY local competitions, giving athletes the chance to showcase their skills and teamwork side by side with our Elite Teams.
What age groups do you accept?
We welcome cheerleaders from ages 5 to 16. Our teams are divided by age and skill level to ensure everyone gets the best experience possible.
No matter your age or experience, there’s a place for you at Valley Elite!
What should I bring to practice?
Athletes should wear comfortable athletic wear/ provided practice wear and bring water to stay hydrated(in a closed container(no open straws)). Cheer shoes are recommended for optimal performance and will be required for compeition.
Don’t forget to bring your enthusiasm and a positive attitude!
